The "Classic Hits Furlong Rotorangi Gutbuster" multisport event is now in
its 18th year and getting stronger.  The scenic Lake Rotorangi in South
Taranaki has proved to be a beautiful and favourite location to run our
enjoyable event.  This event is well know for its abundance of spot prizes
and an awesome buffet meal at the Furlong Motor Inn.

Date: Saturday 6th April 2002 (please write it in your event calendar/
diary now !)
Location: Lake Rotorangi to Hawera, South Taranaki
Stages: "Summit Quinphos" 14km flat water kayak
            "Zeb McCann" 12 km undulating off road run
            "Halliwells" 45km road cycle

All social and competitive entries welcome as individuals (men, women, vet
men, vet women) or teams ( men, women, mixed, corporate/ business or club)
We expect 200 competitors this year.
