IRONMAN SURVEY
The survey on Ironman New Zealand's possible relocation away from Taupo has
attracted almost 100 responses. The first question was " Do you think
Ironman Should move from Taupo YES or NO ? "
100% replied No
Further questions then examined the likelihood or athletes racing elsewhere
in New Zealand or even overseas.

While the numeric results tell a compelling story it is the athletes own
comments that make the most interesting reading. Particularly interesting
are the comments of overseas athletes when comparing Taupo to Rotorua.

comments at

HAWAII CHANGES IRONMAN COURSE

Following the closing of the Kona surf club, site of the old swim to bike
transition organisers of the Ironman world Championships have made a few
subtle changes to the course.

The modified course leads to more spectator viewing opportunities while
retaining all the features that give Hawaii it's mystique. The Queen K
Highway for the bike and the infamous Energy Lab on the run remain
untouched.

You can read about the changes at www.ironmanlive.com
