Over the final 10km's Marshall moved clear to claim a decisive 11 minute victory. Swiss star Olivier Bernhard took out the mens title ahead of Hungarian Peter Kropko. Bernhard finished third at the Air New Zealand Ironman earlier this year behind German Thomas Hellrigel and rising Kiwi triathlete Cameron Brown.
